Thank you so much for the instructional YouTube video explaining how to pressurize the R/O water tank. Everything worked just like you said and my problem is solved! I had recently purchased a Stanley battery charger/air pump with a good pressure gauge, so I was able to empty and pressurize the tank outside…much less mess when the water spewed! Again, thanks for a great video; you saved me a service call. I even replaced the diaphragm while I had the unit out.

When customers are servicing their own reverse osmosis system for the first time, they may run into a little challenge with installing the reverse osmosis membrane.
The challenge is due to making sure the membrane is all the way into the housing so the membrane o-rings are properly in the seat at the bottom of the membrane housing.

DuPure International® uses Omnipure® Q-Series filters in their Pure Blue Reverse Osmosis System and Pure Blue Drinking Water System. The difference is that they have a different thread size to their filters. This is what the “-60″ means.
By simply replacing the valve head with standard Omnipure® heads, you can use standard Omnipure filters in your system and save money on replacement filters. This costs less than a single DuPure® filter replacement, is simple to do and in no way alters the performance of the system. Other than the thread size, there is no other difference between the filters.
